OCTOBER 6TH - LION - Based on the real life story of Saroo, a young boy who gets separated from his family while traveling on a train. OCTOBER 20TH – PATRIOT’S DAY - In the immediate aftermath of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, a police officer aids in the pursuit of the terrorists responsible. OCTOBER 27TH – FANTASTIC BEASTS – Taking place 70 years before Harry Potter, in 1926 New York for a brief stopover, Newt Scamander would have traveled on without incident, were it not for a No Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts. Drop in between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM every Friday to build whatever you like with our Duplo collection. Suggested for ages 2 to 6.


Drop in anytime during the library's open hours to make a letter craft! Throughout the year, we'll make all 26 letters of the alphabet. Each letter and its supplies are available in the children's section for two weeks at a time, but we'll keep extra materials on hand behind the desk. If you want to do a previous letter that you missed, just ask the librarian for the supplies.


Join us on Wednesday from 3:30—5:00 PM for Lego Club! Set your imagination free with our vast collection of Legos! (Ages 4+)

Do you play yo-yo or want to learn how? Come hang out with other yo-yo players, learn tips and tricks, and discover how to get started. The library has yo-yos you can use if you don't have your own. No registration required.

• Tuesday: Playful Pre-School (3 to 5 yrs.) at 10:00 AM
• Thursday: Wonderful One’s (Birth to 24 mo.) at 10:00 AM


If you’re 65 or older and need help with Medicare or medical insurance, you can sign up to receive assistance on Mondays at 9, 10, or 11 AM. Visits are by appointment only. If these times are not convenient, please contact us to arrange a more convenient time. Counselors are RSVP and APPRISE certified. For those who want to refresh their memory or are advanced players, come in on Wednesday mornings at 11 AM and play!


Now there are two options! Mondays at 1:00 PM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM! Break out the yarn and come join us!


Join the group for lively bridge play on Fridays from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. A second session has been added for Mondays from 10:00 AM - 12 NOON starting on Monday, September 18th, 2017! Due to space limitation, 3 tables will be available.


Play rousing games of Mah Jongg at the library on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 12:15 PM.


Socrates Café meets each Monday evening at 7:00 PM to discuss, share, and explore topical issues. No need to register; just come with your thoughts and an open mind.


Teens in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to come to the library for Teen Time every Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 PM.
