We currently only have a book club for adults due to lack of attendance for children and teens. If any children and teens are interested in participating in a book club, please let the librarians know.

April book title selection is LAB GIRL by Hope Jahren. This meeting supports the Longwood Gardens Community Read event.  Copies will be available at the Reference desk. The group will meet on Thurs., April 26 at 7 PM.


Drop in between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM every Friday to build whatever you like with our Duplo collection. Suggested for ages 2 to 6.


If you missed any of our letter crafts in 2017, ask at the children's desk for the letters you wish to make. Extra supplies available while they last.


Join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 3:30—5:00 PM for Building Club! Set your imagination free with our vast collection of building supplies, including Legos, MagnaTiles, KEVA planks, and much more! Suggested for ages 3 and up.


2nd and 4th Thursdays, 4:00—5:00 PM

Do you play yo-yo or want to learn how? Come hang out with other yo-yo players, learn tips and tricks, and discover how to get started. The library has yo-yos you can use if you don't have your own. No registration required.


Please note that all morning storytimes will be on a break from May 14 through June 1.

• Thursday: Wonderful One’s (Birth to 24 mo.) at 10:00 AM


If you’re 65 or older and need help with Medicare or medical insurance, you can sign up to receive assistance on Mondays at 9, 10, or 11 AM. Visits are by appointment only. If these times are not convenient, please contact us to arrange a more convenient time. Counselors are RSVP and APPRISE certified. For those who want to refresh their memory or are advanced players, come in on Wednesday mornings at 11 AM and play!


Now there are two options! Mondays at 1 PM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM! Break out the yarn and come join us!


Join the group for lively bridge play on Fridays from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. A second session has been added for Mondays from 10 AM to 12 PM! Due to space limitation, 3 tables will be available.


Play rousing games of Mah Jongg at the library on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 12:15 PM.


Socrates Café meets each Monday evening at 7:00 PM to discuss, share, and explore topical issues. No need to register; just come with your thoughts and an open mind.


Teens in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to come to the library for Teen Time every Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 5 PM.
