6/14/19 - THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. -A remake of the classic tv show! Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill star as C IA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin who team up to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power. They must race against time to find a vanished German scientist who is key to infiltrating the organization and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.  Rated PG-13

6/21/19 - THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN - Denzel Washington stars in this remake of a classic! The town of Rose Creek is under the deadly control of Bartholomew Bogue, and the townspeople are desperate for protection. They find protection in seven outlaws. 6/28/19 - TYLER PERRY'S SINGLE MOMS CLUB - When five struggling single moms form a support group, they find inspiration and laughter in their new sisterhood, helping to overcome obstacles along the way.  Nia Long, Cocoa Brown, Terry Crews, Tyler Perry star in this PG-13 movie!


BOOK CLUB

ADULTS:  We have two options, afternoon or evening! The afternoon group is our new addition!!

The afternoon group will be meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 4:00 PM.  The July selection for the afternoon group is The Crow Trap by Ann Cleeves.  That discussion will take place on Wednesday, July 10th. Copies are available at the Circulation desk. Pick up a copy and join in!  

The evening group will continue to meet on the fourth Thursday* of the month at 7:00 PM. June's selection is: "Contact" by Carl Sagan. Copies are available at the Information desk.  We will meet on Thursday, June 27, 2019

DUPLO PLAY DAY

Drop in between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM every Friday to build whatever you like with our Duplo collection. Suggested for ages 2 to 6.


STORY TIME

• Monday: Terrific Two’s and Three’s (18 to 36 mo.) at 10:00 AM
• Tuesday: Playful Pre-School (3 to 5 yrs.) at 10:00 AM
• Thursday: Wonderful One’s (Birth to 24 mo.) at 10:00 AM


MEDICARE and INSURANCE HELP

If you’re 65 or older and need help with Medicare or medical insurance, you can sign up to receive assistance on Mondays at 9, 10, or 11 AM. Visits are by appointment only. If these times are not convenient, please contact us to arrange a more convenient time. Counselors are RSVP and APPRISE certified. PINOCHLE

We have daytime and nighttime options.

Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 1pm. 

Tuesday nights from 7 PM to 8:30 PM
Please note that the Tuesday night group is for experienced players (intermediate level or higher) only and they do not provide instruction. (Many websites and online videos can offer instruction if you are interested.) Single deck only; no admission after 7:15 PM so full games are not interrupted.


ADULT KNIT/CROCHET GROUPS

Now there are two options! Mondays at 1 PM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM! Break out the yarn and come join us!


BRIDGE GROUP

Join the group for bridge on Fridays from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. Come in and play a hand of party bridge! Refresh your memory on the rules, meet new friends and hone your skills! Limited to 3 tables.


MAH JONGG (麻将)

Play rousing games of Mah Jongg at the library on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 12:15 PM. Please be sure to have your own Mah Jongg card. Call for information.


SOCRATES CAFÉ

Socrates Café meets each Monday evening at 7:00 PM to discuss, share, and explore topical issues. No need to register; just come with your thoughts and an open mind.


TEEN TIME

Teens in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to come to the library for Teen Time every Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 5 PM.
