1st Thursday of the month, 3 PM

Teens are invited to build, make, and create! For teens in grades 6 to 12.

Feb. 6 — Print Me a River: CDs, yarn, and plastic bags are just some of the materials used in this printmaking activity. Paint can be layered to create a variety of effects.

March 5 — Resist Me If You Can!: Witness the magic of cracked resist art involving construction paper, crayons, and paint. Paint with resist folds where the crayon wax cracks create an interesting dimensional print.

April 2 — Let's Face It: Self-portraits created with pieces of wood, loose hardware, and egg cartons. Imagination will be stretched with these materials.

May 7 — Plant Me, Please!: Make your own paper with seeds inside and cut it into fun shapes. Then plant it outside to watch it bloom.

June 4 — How the Tube Turns: Impress your friends with a kaleidoscope made from office supplies and kitchen wraps. The light reflections are amazing.
